Catherine Hickem takes a look at Mary’s relationship with God and with her son as a way to inspire mothers. Mary’s dedication and faith in God are used to inspire these same attributes in moms of today. The book goes through the different stage of Jesus’ life and reflects on how Mary handled each one of these defining moments; praising the wisdom of her actions in each situation.
The look at the different stages of Jesus’ life was well organized, and easy to follow. Mary played an important role in her son’s life, and I appreciated the attention that was given to her in this book. This book definitely challenges mothers in how they handle the ups and downs in their own children’s lives, and gives a good perspective on how to do so in a Godly way. I would recommend this book to any mother looking for wisdom in raising Godly children.
